What has happened to bring the changes?

In early 2022 I decided I needed to rebrand the business.  Beginner Quilt Emporium was a great place for so many to buy fabric and learn new quilt techniques.  A new name was needed as I was no longer a beginner and I wanted to introduce how the company had moved forward.  Initially I decided on "The Quilt Shop Limited". On companies house I am the only company with that name.  But as an unlisted company (Self-Employed) there is no register to check if that name exosts and while there are hundreds of shops around the world called "The Quilt Shop" a trademark dispute arose when another non Companies House "company" lodged a trademark for "The Quilt Shop" rendering my business name, and any other shop with that name in the UK and around theworld, defunct if they wish to work within the UK.  Well that is without masses of legal paperwork being needed to be drawn up, and thousands spent by all parties.  

Having neither the time, money or energy for the legal fiasco that awaited this type of thing the hundreds of pounds on wasted stationery costs were written off and a new name of iQuilt Limited was decided upon.  

www.iQuilt.Studio are the exact same people, we have the same wonderful fabrics and will always continue to provide the same service you have come to expect, just under a different name.  The shop of three names in a year...  But iQuilt is now it.
